In which Marvel TV Defends itself from harsh criticism. Get it?
I'll give you all the goods right away, and then if you wanna stick around, I'll give you my thoughts. Cool?
Okay, look. Marvel's Netflix outings are, at best, average. Jessica Jones and the first season of Daredevil come close to being absolutely stellar, but even then, they deflate like balloons around episode 8. The blanket 13 episode order for all these shows isn't really helping them. AND they all look insanely cheap; Krysten Ritter, Charlie Cox, and Jon Bernthal can only do so much to keep us engaged.
That said, The Defenders looks fun? I hope they didn't blow all the fun character moments in this teaser, like some of these things have (COUGH IRON FIST).
But, this thing's only eight episodes! So it can't be that ponderous, right?
The current power rankings for these shows is as follows, don't dispute me.
1. Jessica Jones
2. Daredevil Season 1
3. Half of Daredevil Season 2
4. Luke Cage
5. The rest of Daredevil Season 2
6. Giant City Block Sized Crater
7. Iron Fist
Feel free to tell me I'm wrong in the comments. If I get nothing below, I'll just assume you know I'm right. Which hallway fight is your favorite?
See you August 18th. I guess.
